Pre furlough some of the best food I'd ever had came from the mom and pop airports we jumped into. I would intentionally order crew food from those places. My brief recall experience wasn't nearly as good. Hopefully it's gotten better.

The old way of doing food sounded amazing. Seriously amazing. The food before I left was edible 50% of the time.

Hey Macjet, how senior are you and what base? That is impressive.

A buddy sent me this:

Have a buddy that interviewed today. 3 people interviewed but there were 10 or so breakfast vouchers for candidates at the Hilton garden inn. Interviewed with 2 NJA pilots after a slide show and a tour. No HR interview. Interview was all TMAAT, no technical. Finished around 1 and waiting word on getting invited back for tomorrow, it’s 5:17pm now long long does it take to let me know?! He said if I get invited back tomorrow it’s a 30 min face to face with a higher up. All new hires going into the phenom. The other 2 candidates didn’t bring logbooks and didn’t fill out required paperwork prior to showing up to the interview. One guy bailed half way through the interview because his company called (CMH based charter pilot.

that is embarrassing. I wonder if the guy who bailed early will move on to day 2.

Gone are the days of "we've got 1000's of applications on file"

They can’t even get 10 people to show up for an interview. That’s seriously shocking to me.

Who do you work for, how senior are you, and how did you make that happen?

I was supposed to be in that interview group. Called and emailed last week to cancel. I got an email directly from the senior recruiter about the cancellation, she was nice about it but alittle confused I think. My current employer took care of me, when they heard about the interview with NetJets.

That maybe possible but it's certainly not typical. Regardless, I was referring to 21 consecutive days off in a row 4 times a year.

2 More 2/2015 hires got called to SWA and are headed out. Seems like SWA is snatching NJA guys up and the window just opened again, even if you have applied before, apply again.
