You laugh at the beat down but that’s not something made up. A large crop of pilots there feel that way.

My partner and I were talking about this yesterday mid flight during my finale of this weeks grand tour , some guys act like this place is an absolute horror show , others think it's a mix of good tours , and bad tours, and others still actually enjoy the work , the flying et al. To each their own , but the miserabas ( Italian word ,very apt ) who haunt this thread are in a comical class of their own . I hope everybody who is unhappy finds the cockpit of their dreams , and when they find it , they stop posting here LOL : )

I only have five apps out (SWA, UAL, FedEx, DAL, AA) and am holding out for them. I'm not desperate enough to go to the ULCCs or regionals yet, but I've been keeping an eye on the industry. NJ's management has always been reactive and have become abrasive yet again. We are understaffed, overworked, and underpaid, but it's just good enough here to hold out until a major calls. I only work approximately 15 days a month, the vacation is good, the healthcare is good, and I don't have to commute. That being said, I'm still ****ed off when I look at my paycheck and the time I've been here. The contract was such a disappointment... And being so close to the bottom of the list is no fun either. I can only understand why a select few people should want to come here given the current hiring environment. The job would be a good fit for those few people (if they can stomach the pay, long upgrade time, and being stuck in a small-cabin business jet) , but everyone else would be better off looking elsewhere.

Message board reports there were interviews today. Phone interview prior with HR, then on-site face to face with pilots and tour of facility on day 1. Follow up interview with someone higher up the food chain if called back for day 2. If hired, Phenom hell unless you fit test out.

Cannot confirm veracity of this report as yet.

Buyer beware.

I've had 21 days off every month for the last four months with an average of 112 credit as a point of reference.

YMMV
Just an FYI, family courts do consider per diem as income in spousal support or child support calculations.
