Everyone likes to say how exciting it is to go to different airports, small airports etc. and how overnights in Aspen are so awesome. While if going to small uncontrolled fields in a multi million dollar jet, only to land and have zero services (no FBO, no fuel, no GPU etc.) then there is definitely that. I did go to some cool small airports and saw some really cool stuff in the process but especially in the winter, you are on a razors edge with dispatch as they will try to squeeze you into airports with little to no info regarding the condition, so it can be stressful at times.
Just take the "Aspen and Cabo layovers are amazing" with a huge grain of salt if any NetJets pilot is saying it. You will get 12 hours or less off there, so if going to Aspen just so you can check in on FB and make a Dumb and Dumber quote is all you want out of a layover, that's exactly what you will get. You won't have an 18 hour layover in Aspen, Cabo, or anywhere for that matter unless something breaks or you call fatigued.
Don't ever plan to be on the road and have good QOL on overnights. Plan for 12 hours off at most, and if you get more, that's awesome but it is not the norm. The Depresser 3000 computer they use for scheduling is programed to give you 12 hours of duty with 11 hours off, and lots of times that is exactly what you get.

It wasn't the only statement of the week that we found.....curious.
I think it betrays an inside-the-beltway(Bridgeway) mentality that everything is peachy-keen and neato-terrific and why don't you whiny pilots just shut up, fly, and realize how wonderful you have it.
If you want another indication of the mindset promoted by management to other employees inside the CMH ivory tower, go read the recent NJ reviews on Glassdoor. There is a money quote from an IT employee that will stick out.

Where do we even start to address that load of idiocy?

LuscombeGuy and Antipeter nailed it. I like my job. 90% of the guys I fly with do too. Some hate it and want out. It's a free country, hate to see you go.
The biggest basher of NJA (Jetlife) on this board didn't work for NJA very long and left awhile ago. Most like the job, some don't, and that's ok. Jetlife moved on to "high school" but still cruises the junior high to lob grenades. I recommend rereading LuscombeGuy and Antipeter's post for truth and placing Jetlife on your ignore list.

Take the job and give it a year, then unignore me and tell me I was right.
