LOL. Just familiarize yourself with the FO pay scale and the small cabin aircraft in our fleet, because that will be your reality here for a decade plus. Oh, and practice your single-pilot skills for when you fly with our more, ahem, experienced captains.

I think we all know 121 is more lucrative, but I would bet the pilots applying to netjets aren't leaving, or being considered at Delta/Southwest (unless they're 65). The potential new hires are coming from 24/7 on call 91 positions, other fractionals, and small 135 departments. There are plus and minuses everywhere, but in general, netjets does offer a QOL way ahead of those options.

NetJets is a hard job. Probably one of the hardest in aviation. Having said that, before the economic collapse in 2008 it was a decent company to work for. When management was thrown out after the economic collapse and the bean counters were installed it became one of the worst to work for. They have worked on improving it, but from those I still talk to not much has changed. There are a lot of great pilots at NetJets and they deserve to be among the highest compensated in aviation and have solid work rules to work under. Unfortunately a majority of pilots there didn't agree when they voted for the last contract. There are a number of previous NJA Captains with 12-18 years of seniority who jumped ship to the company I presently work for and many more that I know who were unfortunately unsuccessful at their first interview try. There are several Captains who have left to start over at the bottom of other companies as well. Take that for what it's worth.

I left a higher paying, better QOL job to go to NetJets, as did a few others in my class, because I didn’t want to believe what people on APC told me and we thought a good contract was coming lol. That’s why we all fought to leave.
All somebody has to do is compile the data from 2/2015 (my new hire class which was the first new hire class post recall) to now, and see the percentage of FOs leaving after 2/2015 and before. I know that the attrition of new hires is very high.

You’d bet wrong. Not sure how it is now, but when my new hire class came on board, we were all there because NetJets was the first to call. Since then half the clsss is gone and another is giving notice as he has a SWA class date.

The reality is that taking a job with NetJets in 2017 is not much more lucrative than taking a "good" regional job in 2017. Your pay might be 15% more, but you'll work longer and harder with no advancement, upgrade, or possibility of flow. Even the experience that you get will do little for helping you get another job outside of the corporate world.
The biggest benefit of Netjets is the basing system and healthcare.
Spirit, Allegiant, Frontier, AKVx, JetBlue all blow NetJets out of the water when it comes to pay, work rules, and QOL (on the road).
To compare Netjets to a Big3+SWA is like pee wee football vs the NFL.

I personally averaged 11-14% above base on my W-2 for the last 4 years. Being junior might have something to do with it. I get the junior 7/7 schedule every year that works most holidays. That holiday pay adds up in a hurry. Good Friday/Easter weekend is nice coin with 2 holidays.
