2,000 hours of 152 time plus 500 hours in a four seat piston Seminole qualifies one more than the great experience by Loady above. Random insurance requirements can sometimes miss the mark.

Curious as to what the other 1400 hours of turbine time is, especially since going by the numbers you posted, you started logging turbine time with 100 hours total, it's hard to get turbine time without a commercial certificate (if you did, more power to you). I'm not saying you're lying, just genuinely curious.

Well, if he's a Herk AC like his profile suggests, it makes perfect sense to me. His 100 hrs non-turbine is probably from the AF PPL program (or whatever it is these days). And he IS lucky. Before there was a formal program the AF only paid for 50 hrs.

Ah, that makes sense, Thanks!. I didn't see that (I'm on my phone so I didn't see his profile info).

Spot on Herc... I have about 80 civilian, 2020 of mil time all of which is turbine. I've been an AC for 2 and a half years and I've accumulated about 600 hours pic. I was selected for IP school recently and I hope to attend this spring.
Thanks for all the input!
