Thanks for the tips, y'all. Those of us in the lower echelons of the 135 world see NJ as superior, but it it's all moot if a training date doesn't materialize. Hope those upgrades come around sooner than you expect. Either way, will have to keep my options open in the 121 arena. Much appreciated.

I'm not all doom and gloom about NJA but an upgrade time of under 12 years would be a miracle. The CC99 and unlimited vacation sellback with a contract extension will seal our fate
As far as aircraft assignments I would expect phenoms mostly with xl and Sovereigns occasionally. The last aircraft bid went more senior since we are past vacation bids.
I truly wish I had just stuck it out at a regional. Never thought I would say that

A thread that always delivers.
I don't regret going to NJA, but do I regret not leaving sooner.
For all the trolling that goes on, the only thing that is going to improve the pay rates at NJA is people leaving and them not being able to attract pilots. So while guys who are committed to the place boo-hoo about Suckeye and Jetlife taking a dump on NJA, those 2 are doing more to improve NJA now than when they were working there.

In a few months, I will finish my 12th year here. Presently, I'm about 5 years away from an upgrade.
That 5-7 yr upgrade time for a new hire is BULL$H!T.
I'm disappointed to hear they're being dishonest with new-hire candidates.

I’d love to know who said that too. Was it a line pilot or management?

They are making you interview again? They did this last year to about 25 people in the pool when they canned the worthless person in charge of interviewing, funny thing is, that pool completely dried up because they waited too long. The same thing will happen again.
