I truely can't believe how any respectable business could expect to hire professional pilots who spent tens of thousands of dollars on their training, and only pay them 18-24 dollars an hour. It is highway robbery. i would love to fly for an airline im just not sure i can handle a paycut of that magnitude. At that pay you should be able to qualify for food stamps. Its a shame.

So they have already had a class, they have another one on March 22 and another scheduled with people in it on April 19. Has anything been announced about more airplanes or are that many people leaving and this is just for attrition.

Nothing new from the top about new airplanes, but it has been reported that some guys from CAL were out in Cleveland recently taking measurements on the airplanes and when asked they said it was for IAH operations to begin in the spring...
