I'm guessing this is written in sarcasm?

This really sucks for the colgan boys and girls......Out of respect everyone should keep quiet about 'getting colgans flying'. We already have a pilot group running around like a bunch of honey badgers we call them Gojetters.

This is just awful first time experiencing this and the feeling isn't good.

Really, because you have been gloating about Eagle's SJU & MIA...

Care to quote me when I gloated besides we were never in the running for it.

Not to insight a riot here as I know the PinnaColAba body is still warm but it's been widely reported that Pinnacle has asked the DOT for an accelerated departure from the EAS flying which is now served by the SF340 (I.E. IAH and IAD).......Is the IAH saab flying currently done by 9E 100% EAS or are there some revenue routes?

If what there saying is true that all SF340 will be gone by the end of may than I have no idea who would be able to pick up this flying, at the moment we have 4 saabs and very long way to go before this place is a functioning saab airline, in terms of operations and especially training. Would CAL/United ever allow the 1900 out of IAH/IAD as an interum while the saab's are brought on line?

Even before Pinnacle filling CH11 they were parking their Saabs, now they will do it at an accelerated rate, the parking of these airplanes was driven by mainline. You can keep dreaming that Silver will just pick up the flying that others are dropping but these airlines are dropping the flying for a reason!

There's a reason ExpressJet is pulling 135's out of the desert... The Colgan flying is going back to them and I'm sure Skywest will take some of it too. I hope to god that none of it goes to the bottom feeder that is Silver...

All I have to say is I hope this airline goes out of business. ( And that all the pilots, FA's and mechanics find better jobs.)

This is the reason why I asked if the IAH/IAD flying is 100% EAS or if there are some revenue flights. The EAS routes, wherever they are, will be flown by someone the DOT requires it and someone somewhere will pick up the flying. What my concern is the SF340 flying currently done at least at IAH make's absolute no since without EAS funding. I.E. 5 flights a day to Beaumont which is 1.5hr drive? I actually think that these routes (IAH-BPT,LCH, ACT ect....) would make more since for the 1900 than the Saab since these things are empty 90% of the time.

Your making my point for me, replacing a SF340 with a 135 makes about as much since as selling life insurance at a funeral home. Someone is going to have to take this flying and my question is who? There's only a handful of us 121 Tprop operators left (lakes, cape air, horizon, pen air and 1 or 2 more) and of that group I don't see anyone other than Silver who could fill the void that Colgan is going to leave on 90% of the SF340 routes....
