I'm curious, for the sake of your assertion.
As explained we are payed 4 hours of flight pay per day of training (training is currently 6 days per week) and 24 / 7 per-diem. Your four hour a day guarantee is based on your first year seat / equipment. The accommodations in training are excellent. Single occupancy suites at the Fairfield Marriott in FLL and the stay bridge in MSP.

Roughly, I don't have the contract in front of me but that is very close.

I am not saying 3M is the greatest nor the worst. There are growing pains and downsides, however there is also A LOT of upside and potential. I wasn't here during the GIA days and except for the pilots no one else was either. All of management etc. is new and looking to move on from the GIA days. I have been treated very well since coming here and everyone is very excited about the new company and the potential. The current goal is 550 pilots and 33 saabs by spring of next year. Will this happen idk, but I'd prefer those rumors / goals over what is happening to those good guys at places like 9E, XJ, T-States etc. Best of luck to all of them!

Up north you can expect to credit about 80 hours and about $500-600 extra for the green incentive. Not much money but fun flying. On the other hand, theres captains in FLL on the 1900 who credited almost 220 hours last month. Just for some perspective for the guys in training.

Are FOs up north holding lines right out of training?

How about FOs at BIL?

What is the "green incentive?"

What does a typical line look like up north?

If I'm wrong, someone that works at Silver can correct me.

1st year FO = 23.38 (Saab) (I believe that is correct)
1st year CA = 41.66 (Saab)

--Yes, depending on seniority and timing coming off IOE.

How about FOs at BIL?
--No idea, sorry. I'm going to guess no considering we have a lot of more senior west coast commuters there.

What is the "green incentive?"
--For every minute you under-fly, you make $1.75. For example: a flight can be based wheels up to wheels down at 1 hour. If you do it in 50 minutes, you get paid for 1 hour (block or better) plus $17.50 for the 10 minutes saved. And it applies to delays, regardless of how long.

What does a typical line look like up north?
--they vary. Times and rotations vary by base, but generally speaking, during the week there's 2 lines. Get in at 5am, your done by 1230ish or get in at 1230ish, done by 9pm. They typically block 3-4 hours and credit 4-5 hours. And there's about an hour long sit in Cleveland between turns to grab food or coffee. Weekends usually have 1 shift starting around 9 ending around 7/8/9ish...

And yes, the pay rates are somewhat accurate. The DOS raises are minimal, $0.20....

This is interesting. I noticed Silver's on-time performance is really bad, especially the flights in Florida. The on-time performance for the Cleveland flying seems to be average though.

Sounds about right. I'm not in Florida so I can't say much about the operation. But getting there on time and getting there in less time are two separate issues. The flight could be delayed 8 hours, you still get extra money if you under fly the leg.

I don't agree with the so-called green incentive. It incentivizes rushing which can be a safety issue. Of course you could just fudge the times.
