Yes, but consider the fact that nearly 50% of the company is on year 2 pay, or will be by the end of 2013, while the payrates wont change, the company will be paying much more.. But I do agree with the fact that more pay to the pilots would make people happier, keep people around, and be a negligible cost increase to the company. These "good job" emails and little party/barbecues will only go so far, wheres the incentive and reward?

Ya if you jumped up 2nd yr pay to start at yr 7 tier it would be on par with all the RJ operators but you're right that's a hefty jump up.

For the low time pilots at Silver say thanks to Silver that You didn't have to instruct any where and you flew quality turbine time rather than C172 or PA44 time and get your 1500 hours and the sky is the limit at a Jet Regional!!! Good luck to all. We'll see how they fly these planes with all the street Captains junior to all these senior FOs

I think he's implying that all of the FOs who are senior to the DECs that got hired got the brown end of the stick (if you catch my drift). Some FOs have seniority to hold a captain line in Florida, yet they are stuck in the right seat at some looney tunes outstation until upgrades start coming.

They will definitely upgrade just not tomorrow or next month. I've heard some thinking about jumping over to "The regional which should not be named" SMH....sit tight everything is gonna work out.

Yup just need some movement to start again. Things got stagnant for a while
