All right buddy... lay off the youngins. We get it, you're extremely happy that the once young and hopeful have turned into the old and resenting, as this profession has a tendency to do. No need to come on here every few pages and remind us. I'm sure you were young, dumb, and too excited about something once too. How about cutting our guys some slack, eh?

He just loves to come in and drop his opinion kinda weird but to each their own. I'll say this Silver is as we all know now nothing like it was when my class came on board. I can't think of any other regional who... Gave us our own room in training, paid us a monthly min guarantee of 75 hours and 24/7 per diem while in training and for my class a company wide Christmas bonus which for us was $1000. The company was transitioning to a better fleet and we were in a pretty steady state of growth. It was really looking like a decent place to get a start in the 121 world and hey I was happy. Somewhere between then and now it stopped for whatever reason. If it would continue to go up and up this would be a great place to hang out until some upward movement in the industry happens, but it's just not anymore. I wouldn't be leaving so soon if we didn't experience this stagnation and uncertainty.

 

 

Saddest part about it all; it's a moderator who comes stirs the **** and the fades to the back. Almost like he is a streamer who didn't get hired after he paid his 250 and the marines turned him down. I for one have never seen a marine act like such a ....

It is absolutely sad to see the life and spirit sucked out of the group that have been on this thread from the start.

 

I think it's just the regional cycle, you start enthusiastic and ready to work, but like all regionals they go through a cycle of decline. You see the same thing on the other forums. Every regional has its own issues, just got to go where you can stand the BS more and have a better quality of life.

I'm thankful to silver for the opportunity came around. There are some great pilots and people there I had the privilege of working with. I've worked for different airlines and this one definitely started sucking the life out of you. I still have great hopes for silver, as long as they can turn their management around and value their employees who run their airline, it will get better.

Hope for good things to my silver colleagues taking the shaft every day.
