I think for low time guys new to 121 it's a requirement. So yes first you do a checkride in the sim then a small check flight in the plane.

Sure is! Not sure if your sn is synonymous with Dupage Airport, but if it is I did some flying out of there.

They really do need CAs bad. I was offered a CA class, but am only a CFI, and have no prior 121 experience. Don't know if that is a good idea...

Cruz! When you get hired did you stay on a hotel sharing room with someone or just you during training? Thanks!

They put you up in single occupancy in a pretty darn nice room.

I beleive everyone does the check ride in the actual aircraft regardless of time. Their training program requires 15% to be done in the plane.

Congrats on the pass. You just passed a commuter checkride of the old school. Now enjoy winter and offroading on the ramp in the Cleveland Steamer

It is because of the sim that you need a 15% check most sims are good all the way but the 1900 sim is not all that great or new.

CFI Guy I would take it if you are up to it they will let you know if you aren't ready for it but it is a one time jump the line I would take it if I were you.
