I've heard a rumor that pay might be going up. What's the latest gouge on that?

Well they are in contract negotiations so that's probably going to happen.

Jets? I don't know.

Upgrade time is 20-24 months depending on how many FOs are hired behind you and how many CAs leave.......also whenever you get your 1000

Has anyone held FLL out of training and if so how many in each class?

Since the closure of IAD new FOs have held FLL out of training. I don't know how many since it's only been a few weeks since my departure from the company and the official closure of IAD.

Last month you could go where you wanted to go.

Before you see jets at silver plan on seeing one more fleet of turboprops cough cough ATR's, you can probably get the base of your choice out of training, worst comes to worse you commute for 1 or 2 months then get your base of preference.

Jets and new fleets have been rumors at 3M since I first walked on property nearly 8 years ago. If you absolutely HAVE to be home-based in Florida, it's worth a look. If you can hold out for a few months or a year of commuting, Republic will get you to MIA eventually and you'll make more $ in the process. Commuting out of Florida can be a nightmare, very few open seats on direct flights what with all the vacation travelers. I left 3M nearly 3 years ago after a long train of abuses and usurpations, with a nice big check sent my way a year later thanks to the truly Herculean efforts of 3Ms excellent union reps. Those folks are busier than one-armed paperhangers keeping mgmt. honest in their dealings with pilots. I'd only recommend the place if you are totally unable or unwilling to commute or move out of Florida.
