Yup that must be brutal, especially in MCO! FL East/West coasts (FLL, TPA) you get some of the sea breeze at least . . . in the Van at EYW with both cockpit doors open the breeze flow-through cools it nicely but I'm sure you can't pull that trick in the Saabs :D

Let's hope they get ATRs with air conditioning. I don't think ANY of the Saabs are equipped with it, which for a Florida airline, is kind of an Ooops.

Ditto

Is the Saab weight restricted from Pns-Mco with no alternate? I have a feeling I'll need the cockpit j/s a few times this summer. Thanks

So I am reposting my own post from april
Curious whats a typical schedule look like at Silver? Had a FA jumpseating and said all day trips but 6 legs? Gotta be brutal in the summer months in FL, though I cant imagine MCO-EYW being that rough. Genuinely curious

Day trips, 2 days , 3 days and 4 days trip. We have some days of 6 legs but is not everyday. Most of the times is 4 legs per day and is all depends how's the operation is running and specially with the summer weather in Florida and delays you could be extended and have 5 -6 legs but how I said is not everyday!

I live in Orlando and know how commuting sucks, I guess it's even worse from MCO.

My question:

Does it worth to go to silver and avoiding commuting or a regional with a better pay scale and schedule would be better?

I don't live that close to the airport (1 hour driving), so I would rather have 2-3 days trip instead of a day trip, is that possible at Silver?

Thank you guys

Go to Silver, commuting sucks.

Great news for Florida/Caribbean travelers! The new ATRs should definitely help in alleviating Silver's on-time departure and Mx reliability issues, not to mention the ground level cabin temperature discomfort during the hot Florida summers
