I've been looking at Silver, I live between VPS and PNS. I thought the commute would be easy on Silver. A page or so back advises not to commute on silver because of maint delays. Still a factor?

It's like a box of chocolates, you never know what you'll get.

If you want to fly the Saab go and fly for GLO out of MSY. They pay a lot more.

Not necessarily. According to APC the FOs on the 340 at GLO are making $35,000 / year.

Our FOs clear about $36,600 just factoring in the first year pay of $34 / hour x 75 hours x 12 + $6,000 bonus.

Plus you'll get CASS and KCM.

Yeah GLO is salaried but with per diem you can factor in another $5-6k and CASS is getting set up there currently

You act like Silver doesn't have per diem, which of course they do. So you can take away that 5-6k advantage if you'd like.

Additionally, CASS getting set-up means nothing because you'll have to appeal to the major pilot groups that they need the GLO jumpseat (which they probably don't).

Can anyone check the loads for me on 11/16 PNS-MCO? The 9:10am flight number is 3M65 and the 6:12pm flight number is 3M61. I need 3 seats available in the back to take my wife and two kids. I know that's asking a lot on a plane w 33 seats, but the gate agent said they're only half full sometimes. With it being the week before thanksgiving, it may be full. Thanks!

I live 30 miles from PNS so the commute should be easy. MSY would be a little harder and I don't want to move.
