I have a Nov 6 class date so I assume with the holidays and IOE I should be hitting the line in January. Have no Idea how many are in my class

My class was the same month 2 years ago and you will get days off for holidays. You will be looking at the beginning of January doing your check ride and finishing IOE by mid to end January! That was my situation with the same hiring month than you two years ago!

Residence Inn right by the airport

For ground probably you gonna be on the Ressidence Inn by FLL airport. Very nice hotel, nice room and breakfast. In Miami we use the Element hotel pretty much at the MIA airport. Also nice hotel.

This is not at all correct. I spent years commuting from FLL/MIA to ATL and it is an absolutely horrendous commute. This is also true for most of the other cities in Florida to ATL.
