Absolutely untrue.

There are passenger airline operations in which the pilots get, and keep the hotel points.

If you happen to work for such an operation, you'll know. If you don't work for such an operation, then it really doesn't matter.

Correction.
I meant scheduled airlines, but I didn't say that.
Charter 121 operators are in a different category. And once again it comes back to the central issue of whether the schedule allows the company to negotiate the rates.

Again, incorrect. There are passenger irlines with arrange the discounted rates with the hotels, which still give points, and the pilots get them.

Apparently not the case for you.
