I've only been to one recurrent so far, but the way it worked for me is that you had the training scheduled whenever they got a class date. The days showed up as fixed training days on my bid period. You can then bid based on the lines to have them fall either mostly on your days on, or your days off, depending on your preference (stay home more vs get paid more).

Would it be awkward or poor form to attend when I am not one of those things? Or would it be a sign of a "go getter" etc..

I am a CFI at 900 TT.
Absolutely go. Nothing weird about it.

Is there ever a point where JS or JSX will pay for an ATP? I noticed on the website they require a Comm mulit or ATP, just wondering how that process would work out.

I don't work there, but your ATP will likely be earned on your type rating ride at the completion of training (hence you are required to complete the written beforehand) -- now as far as a CTP course, I have no idea

Sounds like a fair deal, thanks!

Almost two weeks now since I first applied.
Still have heard nothing.

I just sent an RSVP request for the Oct22 Open House in Burbank.

I have my fingers and toes crossed!

🤞

Can anyone speak to the quarterly performance bonus on the JSX side? How much, what are the metrics, and any other pertinent details?

Thanks!

X Pilots. Does health insurance coverage begin day 1 or is there a waiting period please?

From experience it is negligible and not worth factoring into ANY decision making.

If jsx has above a certain on time performance monthly a small bonus (no more than a couple hundred bucks) gets paid out to crews quarterly.

If inc has above a certain revenue flight hours per month a small bonus (no more than a couple hundred bucks) gets paid out to crews quarterly.
