Hello all.
Trying to get noticed at Fly Excl.
Question.......what does it take to get noticed and a phone interview ????
I was recently in Raleigh to visit family and drove down to their office and hand deliered a resume package. In 2 months I have heard nothing.
I meet all of their experience requiremences: 3 heavy jet type ratings, 35 years of FAR 121 jet PIC experience, 15 years of turbine FAR 135 experience. No accidents, incidents or violations. 2 bachelor degrees. Finally long term NCarolina resident; Fort Bragg area. Living in the N. Texas area due to a company paid move on a domicile closure and trying to move back to the east coast.
If someone could PM a reply it will be most appreciated.

From our heydey of hiring, things have definitely slowed down attrition-wise, as fewer pilots are moving on to the Legacies and ULCC's. Also contributing to our hiring slowdown is the lack of new jets we have received from Textron due to their strike and their slow output of new jets. I belive that we were supposed to have 33 new jets at this point, but have received only 18.
Also, contributing to our slower hiring is the acquisition of the Volato pilots, which has filled up our INDOC's since last Summer. I believe that most of them have been assimilated and I believe that normal classes will start again in May through November, with 6-8 slots per class. Our smaller March and April INDOC's are full.
WrightCyclones, respect to a former, fellow SA-227/B727 Driver! PM me for more details and maybe I can help your resume get noticed. I believe that Skyking was referring to the prima donnas, which all of us former Part 121 types sometimes get lumped into, but definitely are not.

I saw there is a 8/20 part-time option listed in the company pay profile. How does this work? Do you have to be on property for a certain amount of time first? PIC rated first? Thank you for the information.

Yes, part time 8/20 has been discontinued. old requirements were to be on the property for 2 years. They may bring it back in the future if hiring picks up to a frantic pace.

If you have an aircraft that doesn’t have any MEL‘s and is doing well 60-65 hours a month I have occasionally had a few months where I only had about 37 and that’s because I had an airplane that went down for maintenance and I had to sit with it for a day or two, or I had an airline out to another airplane
