Huh...interesting. The new bid packet came out for the Baltimore flying and it's 4 lines in LNS, and 4 lines in HGR starting in late March. 8 pilots have already bid and been awarded base rights in an advance bid that closed a few weeks back. There must be some sort of expansion of those lines coming up in April or May if they're actively hiring for it...

. As for people speculating about bwi stuff...There's 8 lines and they're all filled and more people wanted it that didn't get it. I have noooo idea why the company is still hiring. We are so overstaffed right now that a ton of pilots went to the chief with concerns. The only hiring right now I believe is into pools just incase when the summer bid comes out, people from the Carib might quit.

I have noooo idea why the company is still hiring. We are so overstaffed right now that a ton of pilots went to the chief with concerns. The only hiring right now I believe is into pools just incase when the summer bid comes out, people from the Carib might quit.

God help me if I get BOS and get stuck with a backup line with a 35 hour min without the $3/hr override. Many of us will be hurting pretty badly if we can't get any overtime this summer.

Yeah, SJU is like that now. All the 5/2s just got swapped to 4/3 due to a lack of need, and nobody except those with hard lines are getting overtime. All this, and we're hiring more?

Yea the NE is not gonna be pretty this summer. This company is usually all about gettin overtime and its just not gonna happen this summer. I'm just glad I'm goin to lns even though it's a crap line. Oh well.
