mini,

In the past Cape has required 1 year of full time service before allowing a pilot to fly part time. Unless there is severe difficulty filling new bases, I'd be surprised to see that change.

I just got the email today... No harm in filling it out and seeing what comes of it. Just thought I would let you all know that they're still filling the swimming pool.

Any of you guys know if they prefer people familiar with GA flying in New England? ie already knowing some of the quirks with some of the smaller airports as a result of being a local instructor.

Also how heavily do they rely on internal recs?

Well, for one thing it helps to have some CFI experience prior to applying at Cape Air, and secondly, it couldn't hurt to have some local knowledge.

Lord Mini, I did see one guy recently go part-time within a year, but he was dropped to the very bottom of the seniority list.
