Is there anyway to not have to move twice a year? I'd love to work there, but I can't have the wife pack up and move every six months.

You may not have the seniority to stay in one base for your first year, but after that you may be able to hold the more junior bases year round in any region excepting Florida.

What, you mean you weren't as entertained by the thought as I was?

Five years ago and longer he would have been 100 percent correct.

How many hours can a junior cape air pilot (C-402 CA) log in one year on average?

Totally depends on where you fly. If you are based in the EAS outstations like I was, you'll probably log between 75 and 85 hours a month. If you are based on the Cape or somewhere with shorter legs (30 minutes or less), I think you'll log more like 50-60 hours a month. My first year I logged 869 hours (most of it in RUT), my second I logged 661 (most of it in EWB).
