Eh that ship sailed a few months ago. I was applying to places like mad for about 3-4 months, because I hadn't graduated yet and we had options to move anywhere. Since I wasn't getting any offers, I had my wife start applying and within a week she got two dozen interviews around Phoenix, so, that's where we went. I have since been grinding out my CFI training. At the time I applied, I barely had a wet 141 commercial, so I'm sure that super-low-time resume showed up and they had enough guys with better time that they could hire and they just never bothered to call me. I mean even recently at 300 hours, I was getting interviews that were also calling guys with 500-700 hours and 200 dual given, and they were getting the jobs. So if little survey and other things are finding higher time guys, I'm sure SAE is too. And since I'm so close to CFI now and need less than 700 more hours to go to a regional, I've accepted my fate haha. But, good to know thanks.

I initially sent out an email and got a response saying yes to send over my resume. I sent it over and haven’t heard anything back since. Waited a few weeks and sent a follow up email and nothing. Hopefully will hear something back soon.

Has anyone recently been through training with SAE? If so, please PM me; I have some questions. Thanks!

Besides, Julie's job is to respond to him! So why should he keep trying? He's owed a job because ... well, because he's owed a job.
I understand, but I am sure she is busy also.

Hello. Has anyone on here recently gone through their training in Florida(ground) and Wichita(Cessna sim training)? I'd like to know what to expect regarding timelines, instrument approaches, testing and quality of training. Please feel free to private message me. Thank You.

Default Thread update

I was looking to update this thread as I look for my next opportunity.

I would be interested in joining the company in Baltimore ( KBWI ).

Are there overnights?

How are the hotels/ schedules / parings ?

Thank you,

zm11

You would not be BWI based. It is all outstation basing. So you would have to live at one of the outstations in the Pennsylvania area.

Would one have to live at one of the Pennsylvania outstations, or could they commute?
