I believe it is easier to get hired as a captain vs FO. But they have high turnover in both seats due to the difficulty of the job and burn out.

When you need something, special days off or have a personal issue. Management seems to be accommodating and treats everyone fairly. As I said in the above post, once you assert yourself in not flying in what you feel is unsafe conditions, the company accepts your decision and totally backs off.

This is very important because over the years at many 135 operators this has not been the case. Lots of intimidation.

Again hope this info helps and best of luck.
Do you have any idea what kinda Schedules there are? 4 on 4 off type? Anything on CASS?

I believe most schedules are 4 on 4 off. You fly so much on your 4 days, I believe for 135 weekly and monthly maximum hours 4 days off works out.

I知 checking wity my friend on CASS, I値l let you know what I find out.

Schedule is 4/4 except when its not. That is the standard and they try to stick to it but don't take that as written in stone. CASS with AA just came out. We have a list but its mostly regionals. JetBlue also has CASS but Cabin only. MyIDTravel currently has JetBlue, Allegiant, Tradewind, Copa, Cape, and Ethiad

Default Manuals/Materials

How can I obtain training materials prior to starting in August? I would definitely like to start studying beforehand!

My nephew is interested in this company. He's just finishing his CommSE with about 180TT. Part 141, non-aviation degree. Finishing part 141 training on ME and CFI later this year.

What is competitive for an F/O?

And to add a sprinkle of realism to this, chances of getting hired are very slim with this level of experience.
