Pay was initially 80K but was reduced to 70K for new hires, schedule is proposed to be 6/3 (yea sucks) so I don't think too many guys will stick around long with that schedule.

Wow. 6/3? That's a strange schedule for that kind of flying. Is it like 6 days availability in your base with 3 hard days off, or an actual 6 day tour?

My tail isn't wagging as fast anymore

Appreciate the info by the way.

Hey Ultra,

Keep in mind that no one, including NetJets, started with a 7 on, 7 off schedule. They had to fight for it and earn it.

Think or these pilots as the first wave to break through the barbed wire on Omaha beach and move inland. Improvements will come with time. Remember, when Southwest started... Well, it wasn't the Southwest of today...

Yea the 6/3 is no tail wagging kind of schedule. Not sure what the powers that be are thinking, it doesn't make any sense operationally and definitely makes no sense with regard to QOL. I'm pretty sure they will be 6 day tours away from home unless you happen to come back to base, with the number of members Wheels Up is looking to get there shouldn't be much time to standby at home.

Like 727CRVR said, the first guys are the ones that have to break through ... I'm sure there will be some high turnover until they fix that schedule

You're right. I guess its all hands on deck in the beginning until things start to settle down and get established. I'll be patiently waiting for operations to head west, then I'll be all over it like a Kardashian in a hand bag store!

So....can anyone at least tell us where to apply? I'm dying to live in the northeast and this company sounds good to me. I sure could use the change of pace and aircraft.

Thanks man. Did the search but no luck in climbto350. Found a gama webpage but no open positions and I'm not even sure they're the ones with KA350's; do they also have a palm beach office? If so it might be them.

Has anyone walked in a résumé? I see PBI has an office location but seeing as how there's quite a few offices listed they might not know wth I drove there for haha.
