As usual I have no inside information. I certainly can't say how many we are planning to hire.

Denver seems to be a revolving door, though. 5 FOs in upgrade class right now and 1 or 2 in new hire class. At least 2 Captains leaving by the end of June, possibly more. The openings seem to be constant.

Hang in there, especially those of you already in the pool. It will happen, IMO.

You never know until you ask, with that being said I applied at 300 hours. They told me thank you but no thank you. I have an extremely strong background from macitence and even currently hold a crew position on the C17 in the Air Force with over 1000 hours, just none as a pilot that hold weight. Im not disappointed they said no, I met the min requirements just not the preferred, but you never know until you ask. I applied Saturday and was denied yesterday. This is not a post asking for pitty, but just a post to tell those 300 hour guys my experience and how quickly it happened. I have 2 jobs currently in part 91 operations and average about 50 hours a month. Im going to reapply at the end of the summer and hope to be flying for Boutique Air soon. Don't give up 300 hour guys, your time and mine will come, just be persistent and don't give up. Don't listen to the negative comments made by many people on here, its your dream go get it!

Seems like someone else said in here it's only for the pilot, not the family though, correct?

I believe "Jump seat" is always for pilot/crew only regardless of airline you work for.

Yeah, I wasn't distinguishing jumpseat. Not being a professional pilot I forget to distinguish that sometimes. I was just talking about flying privileges in general.
