Hi Guys,
I have right around 550 total time right now, CFI working in Colorado. I've been looking around for an opportunity that is slightly more stable than instructing.
What do you think my chances in getting hired would be, especially with my low times? I read on this fourm that some guys were hired around 250 TT but I don't know how that's possible. It took me six months to find an instructing job out here...
What are your thoughts? Should I apply? or not even bother?
Thanks Guys!

Nothing really, I just figured they probably don't want to be bombarded with applications from pilots who may or may not have the minimums they're looking for...
Although, I couldn't find anywhere on the website where they have any minimums listed...

Exactly! No posted mins because there are none. I got on with around 350tt and 100 turbine. Some had far more, some had less. It all depends on the needs of the company and who answers the phone. Obviously those that are willing to accept the base they are trying to fill have a better shot. I think they are looking to fill a class for LAX currently.

Do you have any advice for the interview or the initial application process, etc..? I'm going to spend the weekend totaling up my log book and write up a nice cover letter, then submit it over on Monday morning.
I am pretty broke, so moving isn't an option for me right now. I would consider another base if they had CASS privileges, but there would be no way for me to commute otherwise.
Should l call on the phone prior to submitting my app? Or just email it over like the website suggests?
