If you've finished the International part, you're done with the longest and most boring section. They say about 40-45 hrs to complete the entire CTS, but I think it's more like 60. Just git 'er done before class starts. You'll be glad you did.

Thanks for the info. Just completed the CTS, I truly feel for those who wait until ground school to finish it. The study guide they sent me looks like it has some good info in it, it's about 40 pages. Also, do I have access to systems slideshows through google drive? Can't seem to find much stuff on there.

Once you have access to Lair, the slideshows will be in the training resources of the pilot section. Several days of ground school will be devoted to these slideshows. If you've been through them ahead of time, you'll learn much more in those sessions.

Hey Pocho! I'll be in the ground school Nov 5th also. Looks like I'll be heading to LAX after, hoping for PDX in the near future. I'm still grueling through CTS but definitely going to get it done before class.
Did you get this POH?

I know someone who is a pilot for Boutique and I'm going to see if he's got any materials that would be useful. I'll send you anything I get. Look forward to meeting you soon.

Out of curiosity. Can someone who has some information let us know how many hours someone who really wants to fly can get while flying with boutique?

I was off today and flew 76 this month as a PIC. The FOs are usually scheduled in the low 70s and pick up some extra shifts.

I know FOs who consistently flew 100 hours/month. Remember, there is a training commitment, so plan on metering your monthly hours to finish your employment with the hours you need to go elsewhere. Depending on your age and energy level, it can very tiring to fly 90-100+ hours/month.

It depends a lot on your base, too.

If you're in Denver you can fly your face off and build time.

Portland FOs were around 60-70 at most while I was there.

Just got the email saying I was put into their hired pool and waiting on a base to open up. I waited about a month and a half from when I did the technical interview.
