So, which is it? Can some explain it, with relevant references? Will we, or won't we, continue to negotiate if we vote this down?
Hopefully the brief that the union is about to release will include an explanation of the repercussions of a vote in either direction.

I keep hearing different stories about this. Many, even some experienced guys, have said that we really should vote 'no' if the negotiations didn't bring us up to par. Said that good faith would result in further negotiation.

Simply put, they do not owe us anything. If they come back with a counter offer it will be on their own accord. The RLA is what “forces” (see Frontier) a company back to the table and that would be something that happens when the contract amendable date is up, which for us is 2024. Then, the company according to the RLA would have to work with the union and bargain “in good faith”
This is the way I understand it at least. I would assume the union will drop the legal interpretation in the TA release.

It’s funny how everyone says vote for yourself but this is all we are going to get. Did The pay raises that were attained several years was that during negotiations? No it was done from necessity by the company. It is our job to create that necessity. We are way under industry standard, this TA does nothing to move the bar up for us or our industry. Everyone loves to throw shade at PSA for caving years ago, well if this goes through we have no room to speak.

Supposedly the announcement is coming out today [again(again)]... be prepared to be underwhelmed...reduced interface, some % of lines will have more days off, Envoyesque 50 seat Captain rates, commuter hotel pay reimbursement similar PSA.
It’ll be interesting to see what the scheduling extension/reserve give aways are for the “gains” to bring PDT closer to parity with the other Wholly Owneds (except no flow increases like the other two got recently)...
