They are in a tough spot. Im sure the last TA is on their minds and they want to earn trust back from the pilot group. However, I don’t see the company offering anything other they the pay raises. They need to just take the money and let time prove that nothing is getting better until other changes are made. As shown above, we did have a net gain last month which does not help there fight.

That, and the most inefficient line I could find had 72 hours of credit and 396 hours TAFB!

Ouch! That’s gotta hurt! And you don’t have to see the slow motion replay, because everyday is slow motion here.

But think of the per diem check!!!
At $1.70 an hour all that time away makes me wish I could be fine more.

Thank god all the weekend lines are built in with massive in your face’s. That way you can be here 20 years and get 11 days off.
(Sarcasm for those with MEL’d sarcasm detectors).

Thank

Take the money, fkers. Some rumors I’ve heard is that the company has 0 interest in anything else. They are still hiring and haven’t had a ton of issues. This mass exodus people keep bringing up isn’t happening. Take the money now and show them it won’t help at all. Then later we can ask for more. I know the union wants a big win to make up for that crappy TA, but it ain’t gonna happen.

Take the money now... lose all of your leverage for changes in the immediate future. I hope our union stays strong because it’s now or never. This isn’t no strings attached... Ever hear of the term opportunity cost?

I am in no rush. That money will be on the table for the foreseable future, they want us to have it. They want to stop training pilots for F9 and NK.

Taking the money now won’t affect the future. Seems like there are others who agree with this after I was just reading the Facebook page and some of the recent posts. They are 100% correct, taking the money is the best bet. Holding out does nothing more than delay money we could have now. This is not a TA, this is Piedmont saying “here’s money.”
The union was right to push back. The company said
F off. The union should take the money to prove that it won’t fix anything. This isn’t rocket science.

I’m glad you’re a pilot and not a lawyer.

Don’t need to be either to see the obvious here. Don’t know what leverage you all speak of. All I know is that the problem throwing that word around are the same ones thinking we aren’t hiring and also losing 20 pilots a month to frontier. Take the money, everything else will come in due time.
