The only thing the pilot group seemed to want was more days off so they could work them for triple premium... and to keep their vacation bidding so they could get more days off and work triple premium on those days too...

That was high priority on my survey response. When I do get 3 or 4 days off in a row I don't now what to do with myself anyway. I picked up a triple reserve day today as a matter of fact. Increasing the call out time is of less importance, as more of us are commuters than ever before. I have heard that airport reserve is a very distinct possibility as well. We are essentially airport reserve anyway during long sits, as I recently discovered again.

I think that’s fairly short sighted as triple premium won’t always be around.

Meh, more days off is more days off. It's your prerogative what you do with them, but it's good for everybody regardless of your intentions

What’s up with the number of pdt flights? When I compare psa and pdt flights on flightaware, pdt seems to average 9-15 flights airborne at any given time vs 50-65 at psa. I know psa is bigger but not by 5-6 times. Is there not enough flying from aa?, pending contract? Or am I missing something?

Do you all use a scheduling program like Proffer where you bid, trade, drop, pick up time etc.? I would love to see a sample monthly schedule to get an idea of trips, flight time, time away from base and such. Thanks!
