“Not going to discredit anyone’s opinion”, but then digs into the PDT files to try to discredit my opinions. Classy move.
Yes, I have been on the line for less than a year, but anyone working a new job for more than a few weeks knows whether they like it or not. I sat reserve for 3 weeks, I live in base, and it beats sitting at a desk. I get 13 days off, which I spend with family and friends. Try it sometime MT, you might like it.

That said, there are a still quite a few of us from the dash days that are bitter, and p!ssed off from being p!issed on too many times. My time at Piedmont is almost over and overall its been a positive experience. But as a new hire today, there are much better choices out there to pay your dues.
Unless you absolutely need a WO with flow to American and need Piedmont for some reason, there are better choices to consider at the moment. That's not to say things won't change. Heck in 5 years, FOs now make 3x more than we did. We grinded away in beat up egg beaters that you got the privilege to fly after having your @ss handed to you by the red headed devil, which I do respect immensely. We started our careers sitting months if not years at an out station base on reserve. Sane day commutes were impossible.
So yes things have improved, but we are we are the bottom at the moment compared to the rest.

I truly am glad you enjoy it. As I said, it can be enjoyable but that is because it is a great employee group for the most part. The QOL is sub standard, as is the pay. That's pretty much all the matters.

About a third of pilots won’t flow here. They resign for other opportunities before then.

694 today. The hiring boom from 254 or so to the current numbers started in 2015. Those hired in late 2014 through 2015 hit the sweet spot for a 5 year flow. With current attrition reality is 6.5 to 7 years for flow if hired today. 9 years is straight flow only with no outside attrition....

And only 504 bidding. Granted, that’s 4 more than last month! #fullystaffed
