I don't plan to go to RAH because I'll earn more at another carrier that offers better work rules. Couldn't care less about rates. Care more about net pay.

First year at Republic you'll bring in about 75 hr of pay at the min. So at there current pay you'll be looking at 1700 gross income. Tax man get about 400.00 of that. Then there great family insurance plan will run you about 900.00 so basically you'll have about 400.00 to play with.

So bringing home if your lucky about 15k your first year is close to being realistic. There are better places to go.

I just said I'm not comparing, but since you insist....I'm looking at the rates and my work rules together. It's a total package, you see. I'm a 1500+ mile, 2-3 leg commuter...so between your non-consistent CX pay, work rules, non-rev priority, etc.. your "coveted" rates would make me less money. That's a fact, Jack!

You still haven't answered where you got this information from.

AAG personal were in CLT and were about to make an announcement last week. After there Bean Counters along with the hired RJ consultants started to number crunch they wanted more time because they wanted to add more aircraft to the announcement. Basically want 30 EMB 145's and about 30 175's so look for Piedmont to double in size or almost triple depending on time length of Dash 8's. Look for it Thursday or Friday. Sorry Parker did call me personally and tell me but this has been the rumblings in our Training dept while speaking to AAG people.

Serious question and correct me if I'm wrong. Aren't the 145's and 175's two different type ratings? Does it make economical sense to put both on the PDT certificate. I'm not questioning what you have heard, it just doesn't make sense.

I absolutely agree with you. I honestly figured that AAG would just put the 175's on our certificate since US Airways already has the 190s and we have a 175 sim in CLT.

The 145's now have to have a program set up at PDT which will cost money when Envoy already has one. So I'm surprised we will see the 145's. However what we are hearing is the first 145 will be here in June of 2014 at 2 aircraft per month the first year increasing to 3 a month until 30 planes show up. 175's will start in March 2016. And we are hearing 30 of those.

But you are right it looks like AAG is stepping over a dollar to pick up a quarter.

Very doubtful on the 145s. I thought AA was in the process of getting rid of that flying.

Where are the 145s coming from? I keep hearing the desert, but I'm just wondering if these are former Eagle, CHQ, XJT, TSA birds. I stilldon't understand why they would bring these on. Why not get started on the 175s by picking up the 20 midatlantic 170s from RAH? RAH's new United flying is going to require some serious staffing. Why not relieve that by transferring aircraft to us.

Same place BillyHo gets all of his information, out of his rear end.

Don't look for actual facts with an actual sources from him, you won't get them.

He will however give you ponies and unicorns from the highest of official sources due to the fact he is the official management cheerleader.
