DCA has grown from 29 to 59 lines in the last 5 months. I expect it to be well over 100 lines by mid to late summer.

If not before, depending on how Air Wisconsin flying gets split up.

In all the other domicilies, the time for FO's to hold Round 1 have been steady and have decreased. If you are new to the company, or still in training, it's probably best not to bid Charlotte if you want to get off reserve.

The CLT times for FO's have not been holding steady compared to the other domiciles. In CLT, the time to hold Round 1 has increased each month, and this month the time to hold Round 2 has increased. This trend has been going on for the last few months despite the overall number of pilots increasing. It appears the number of lines have been decreasing at the same time.

Yes, it currently takes about 5 months after completing training to hold a line in CLT, while it only takes 1-2 months in some of the other bases. That is true. But the reserve times are ever changing, and even 5 months on reserve is pretty good in the big picture. Wouldn't you agree?

Look at the chart that MaCrOs just posted. CVG, DAY, and DCA are all the least amount of time on reserve (a couple months - those hired and started class in May/June will be Round 1 line holders in November. New hire training takes approximately 3 1/2 months).
Aircraft doesn't matter. We all fly all 3 airplanes, there are not separate lists. This way there are no junior or senior airplanes, just one list. If you want to fly the 200, you can bid for the 200. If you want to just fly the 700/900, you can bid those trips.
