But I’m like 80% sure that PHL will be our next Crew base and is an easy commute from ORF. So is DCA and CLT for that matter. PHL or SJU

Are there any PSA pilots on the thread that commute from ATL? If so, I'd like to ask some questions

Ha! I can think of a ton of folks that would love SJU.

Probably not, but living in ORF means that you'll have a pretty easy commute to DCA or CLT, or perhaps PHL if that becomes a reality. Looking online briefly, this coming Monday there's 4 flights to DCA, 7 to PHL, and 9 flights to CLT out of ORF. Given your choices, I'd go PSA, but I'm a little biased. Let me know if you've got any other questions.

Oh trust me, I am very aware of the ease with commuting to CLT and DCA from either PHF and ORF.

That ORF crew base is just wishful thinking on my part.

You hear TYS is closing? I've heard that for 9 1/2 years now. And there have always been other regionals flying CLT-TYS. So please tell me when exactly we are closing TYS. Or are you just another misinformed troll?

One thing to consider with ORF being a Mx base... We will be overnighting there as much or more than we currently do. Two that means once you are a R1 pilot at PSA you can take advantage of the SAP and pick up / swap into trips with ORF and PHF overnights. I was doing that for a while in my hometown and I was getting 3-5 overnights at home every month during my trips. So on average I would only be away from home 6-9 nights /month. One of the benefits of the SAP.

I know a few and fly with a few as well. Tho I don’t personally do it, I hear that commute is super easy. They never even have to try Delta cause they always get on American, especially with the airbus running that route all day with 2 jumpseats.
