There will be no increases in pay until classes dry up. Get that through your thick skull.

I'll call you a dick because apparently you fail to realize the implications under the RLA of attempting to inspire others to interfere with the company's hiring process.

I'll leave it at that.

Like a few others have pointed out, EDV wasn't having difficulty recruiting when they came up with the TA. Sooner or later, it'll become market rate. We all know Republic and EDV increased pay rates. SkyWest and XJT are in pay negotiations. Our biggest concern would be to make sure the 1500 hr rule doesn't revert back to 250.

Do you drive to work? Or do you sap for commutable trips?

Both, my drive is several hours long, so I SAP for commutable trips. The long drive sucks but at least there is always a seat available for just me!

Hey guys. Someone coming in with 1000 121, what could I expect in regards to upgrade time? I don’t mind sitting on reserve for decades and I don’t mind commuting. I already do a coast to coast commute with diminishing QOL and I’m just getting burned out.

Probably 3-4 months after training is complete, if not sooner. That is worst case scenario.

Talk to PsaRecruiter on here. He got a few of my friends in to PSA quick and they upgraded in a few months.

I agree. They are still senior-manning First Officers to force them to upgrade, so a new-hire who is qualified should spend little to no time in the right seat...at present.

I am sure you'll be awarded the upgrade once you finish training.

That’s all true but QOL has taken a huge turn for the worst. Junior assignments, 85 hour floors, min days off, cancelling vacations, increased upgrade times. It wasn’t so bad with 15-16 days off a month and a sub-2 year upgrade. No reason to do this commute anymore.
