If I had to guess (and that is all it would be), the Union has been asking that min-day be added to the trips before the SAP. Maybe this is doing that? Not really sure. The math doesn't really work.

SAP down
So is the SAP being down in retaliation for the vote of no confidence? How do the pairings get loaded into crew track with the wrong credit values for July, who changed that setting or process? I wonder if it would help bring the company to the table with the union if every round one line holder dropped the 1st - 4th and enjoyed a long Fourth of July weekend with their family and friends. Could that in any way be considered a job action?

The sap being down is just PSA constantly screwing us over. Now they are screwing us on flow too. As if we weren't already getting screwed by the pathetic number we had to begin with. Pretty sure Piedmont is flowing as many or more than us with half the pilots. This place is a joke.
"Per ALPA’s calculation, the number of active captains on the June 8th seniority list was 596. The threshold to gain an additional flow number is 592, thereby obligating the company to send six pilots to American in July. ALPA has been calculating this number monthly using the same method since the base number was set in January 2016 when our number matched the Company’s. However, the Company now claims our calculation is incorrect, and that we only have roughly 570 active captains, still 22 captains short of the threshold.
The Association objects to the Company’s delusional math and is arguing our case. We will keep the group apprised of our progress."

I'm here so I can crap in the company kool aid that people like you are drinking. Ever think that everyone might be happier if the company could follow an agreement? Instead you blame it on guys like me who are sick of the empty promises. Let me guess... management?
