It is still here. $5,000. I know several people that have made quite a money with this.

But, there are 2 rules.

1) the current employee MUST fill out he form on the employee website, or email the address if they they don't have access to it yet, BEFORE the person puts in their application

And

2) The new person must put the referring persons name on the application the first time they apply.

If either of these doesn't happen, you won't get it.

I know people that have gotten 4-5 of these in the last 6 months. It is a good way to make some serious cash.

You get a minimum of 75 hours of credit a month and per diem anytime that you are away from home for IOE. Plus the company flies you from home to base for IOE.

Is they what you want to know?

So, I need to renew my passport, but it seems the standard renewal process involves mailing your old one in along with the paperwork.

Is there any danger (as far as being dinged by the FAA/company LCA) in not having your passport in your possession, if you can prove you're in the process of having it renewed?

Or, I suppose a better question may be, is there a different process anyone knows of, in which you can retain your old passport until the new comes in?

I saw it listed in another forum, but you are under certain conditions authorized to have MULTIPLE passports. Just do a web search. You can then renew while in possession.

Is there anything to prepare for with the ATP/CTP course besides the written? I'm doing it in a few weeks and if there is anything to go over before I'd like to be prepared.

If you have a passport office nearby you can get same day. My local office had a printer issue that day so they couldn't get it out to me till a few days later. All I did was email the CP and said I'd be without a passport until XYZ for renewal. All they'll do is mark you as ineligible for our two Bamama turns.

They'll only reimburse you for $110 of the cost, so you'll eat the $60 expedite fee. I put $110 on my expense form and AC thanked me. I guess guys have been trying to get away with getting the full cost reimbursed....

Just email the CPs and let them know that you need to renew prior to sending it off... they will give you approval. No need to pay for expedited services that you won't be reimbursed for. Don't forget to let them know when it comes in (a few weeks) and fill out your paperwork for reimbursement.

Pretty sure the only testable material is what is on the FAA ATP Written Exam which you take after course completion. For that, test preparation material like Sheppard Air is invaluable. Bear in mind I have yet to do the ATP/CTP course or the new FAA written.
