Heard about half the December class washed out. Looking at the last several months it shows 4 Feb, 11 March so 7 in April is probably within norms.

Did you say there’s currently a 4 week break between systems and IPT?? Is that expected to continue? How about for sims?

I’m starting in april and am trying to plan some important family events that can’t be rescheduled. I know as a guy in training I have not much by the way of options, but a well timed delay in training might help.

TIA

As of right now, they are pushing to send folks through on the 200s. There is a backlog in the 700/900 training pipeline . My class (feb 26) 3 pairs were sent home for 2 weeks and the rest 4 weeks. The class after us got assigned the 200 training pipeline, so the delays are going to be bit different to say at least.

Well, per the seniority list, you heard wrong.

As of the March list, we hired 65 people in December in two classes, and 7 are no longer with us between the two classes. 66 in November, and 8 gone. 62 in October, and 10 of those are no longer here.

If anyone wants to see the data going back to 2014, I'll put it on BSL.

FYI according to my data, we hired 642 people in 2014, and 357 of those are still with us. We hired 678 in 2017, and 569 are still here.

Over 13 years for TYS FO LCR? That's painful.

Well I'm not sure if that was a typo on the seniority list but for one LCR line it showed hire date 2004, which doesn't really make sense but it is what it is...

Yeah and I thought I had a good chance of LCR in TYS this month.....but, on the flipside I'll take TYS being 2nd most junior for FO R1!

I think someone was probably ineligible during first round bidding and didn't like the BU lines. Also we have a CA and FO with the exact same name but different seniority numbers (unfortunately, for the more junior).

Default 2004 hire or typo

Why would it appear on the grid at all? I thought these were ‘most junior guy’ to hold each slot. In which case a 2004 hire would be of no interest.

What am I missing?

You are correct - That is what the Excel picked up. The FO that has the exact same name as the CA - it went off the first instance. It should be 8/14/17 for the LCR in TYS.
