I just finished up in CLT and the word was the mid DEC class had a higher than usual coincidence with training challenges. Not calling that fact, I just know what I was told. On the other hand, with the 4 week delay between systems and IPT observation maybe some folks decided to find another home instead of paid vacation to build seniority.

I saw ‘7’ on the April spreadsheet under the “training attrites” column and assume they were all in April.
Did you say there’s currently a 4 week break between systems and IPT?? Is that expected to continue? How about for sims?
I’m starting in april and am trying to plan some important family events that can’t be rescheduled. I know as a guy in training I have not much by the way of options, but a well timed delay in training might help.
TIA

In the latest class, 1/3 will go directly into IPTs, 1/3 will observe the IPT sessions for 2 weeeks, and 1/3 will go home for 2 weeks, then come back to Dayton to observe for 2 weeks before finally starting the IPTs.
This could be different for the next classes, depending on how they are split up for initial aircraft training (200 vs 701/900).
