This is just my personal opinion, but I think it is way weasier to learn the 200 first.

All upgrades are done at the 200 sim in CVG?

It is what it is. Best not complain to the guys who spent 5-6 years on reserve back in the day or you might get an earful. Although that said, those guys are mostly flowing now, if they're still here.

What is the reason these people aren’t making it through?

From my experience I can say coming from another regional the training was harder then it needed to be, actually it was quite painful and was so happy to be done. You know something’s not rite when the second intial is harder then the first with a 1000 hrs in type. There is a lot of things that could be Improved upon but it’s PSA way PSA pay rite lol.

So with that being said would you suggest someone brand new to the regionals straight out of ATP flight school coming to PSA? Or would you suggest a different regional?

As I pointed out earlier, someone people have decided to inflate the washout rate. Having talked to both recruiters and people in the training department, they anticipate a 10-15% washout rate. That's not terrible.

If PSA works for you in your situation, come on over. we'll have close to 1,800 pilots on the seniority list that came before you, and somehow miraculously made it through training. Many fresh CFIs or other low timers right at the mins.

In short, don't believe all the scare mongering from anonymous people on the internet. We may have some issues, but our training department is not one of them, except perhaps for training capacity.
