Asking for a friend, but are the $5K bonuses still in play for those applying that have a CRJ type rating, or is that gone with the new pay rates?

Premium Pay override: Is that 75/85 block hours or credit hours?

Congrats guys. Well deserved raise.

I saw the pay rates a few pages back, they were described as blended rates?

Not sure what that specifically means? Same pay for 200, 700, and 900?

And above 75 credit it's 125% and above 85 credit it's 150%, did I read that correct?

Nice contract, much better than SkyWest!

Correct. We get a blended rate adjusted every so often based on the number of different CRJ in the fleet. CRJ200 pay rate is a little bit less. 7/900 is more. So to keep from over complicating things trying to pay a different rate for different aircraft in a given month, trip, day etc they just blend the rate together.

Currently growing our 7/900 fleet and shrinking the 200 fleet so the rate will continue to swing higher from here.

For clarity, the hours from 75-85 pay 125% (so max of 2.5 hours) and anything in excess of 85 pays 150%. You don't get 125% or 150% of your entire monthly credit, only the excess above 75.

Overtime applies to normal flying credit and minimum guarantee. SDO pick up is still "above guarantee," so a reserve can credit above 75 if they pick something up on an off day. Other things go against that credit, like sick time and military leave. If you are sick for 20 hours and credit 90 hours, you will lose the overtime and get 90hrs of straight pay.

Post Please don’t fall for it

Congrats on the new rates but I am begging you not to fall for the PBS sale? We got great rates but gave up any say in PBS, especially the Reserve grid, and it really is terrible. We have no say in our schedules, we are overstaffed with offers of Time off Without pay but the grid is ALWAYS red. There isn’t much flying for us so we sit a lot of airport reserve in New York covering two airports. It’s just awful. Make sure you have VERY clear language when it comes to PBS. Don’t let your union blind side with New Rates. New rates are only good if you get to use them. All the best from another regional guy bashed over the head by two different companies.
