Who knows when it comes to a DFW crew base... Honestly, I think we stand a better chance at opening yet another outstation crew base, like in Savannah, before we see a base open in DFW.

What are the odds of a DFW base in the near future given all that has evolved?

I don't see that happening. They had to recall everyone to get the govt. money. Fact of the matter is we are grossly overstaffed, still got rid of 19 planes not coming back and the numbers of pax traveling is still down. I don't see how more flying would come our way when we've seen it go to PDT and RPA etc.

Honestly..no one knows. When the company wide email comes out, you'll know. I realize that is not helpful, but considering how this year has gone. Let's take it one step at a time.

Planes with a fresh patch of paint on the nose and "MESA" lettering trying to peak out from behind it would be a strong indicator of the possibility.

Until/unless that happens I don't think we'll open a DFW crew base (we lost most or all of our DFW flying through February).

Republic just picked up 6 E-175s slated for Envoy because AA couldn’t secure the financing... There are no new airplanes coming. I’d say DFW is a pipe dream at this point. We aren’t even doing any flying there in February.

I don’t think February is a good gauge for that. We aren’t doing any flying in DCA in February either.
