No. It means AA does not have to use its cash any more to pay for operating costs, just the COVID specific items. And with their strong cash position, they are on a good path to recovery.

I’m really frustrated as I applied via airline apps in March and got an automated reply saying thank you for your application but never heard anything else. I am 99% sure that the application did not actually go through. I only applied directly via the website on March 28. I’m pretty much convinced that airline apps is a piece of trash. I haven’t gotten any emails about any kind of flight time verification or HR interview or video screening. I’m wondering if I blew my one chance.

They have a ton of applications and it is taking awhile to hear anything. I was told they are hiring 70 a month until August per the recruiter. I did the video app on 3/24 and still have yet to hear back for the technical. I was told they only had a few people to view all of this. So grain of salt but this is what a recruiter told me. Hope it helps
