It might be the other way around. There's 5% normal people and 95% of PSA pilots are a bunch of weirdos.

Threatening emails to the pilot group from a fill in MEC chair. What an environment to work in. Get out if you can.

I didn’t take the email as threatening. Just factual. Disciplinary hearings are peaking at the moment and our Chairman detailed the things that they are being issued for. Make sure you file your required Ops Reports in the FOM. Make sure you check to ensure the nosewheel steering and parking brake are off prior to push. I don’t get the vibe that the company or ALPA want to deal with disciplinary hearings for these things. It’s a lot of extra work for everyone involved. But the issues keep arising and issuing bulletins/memos about it isn’t solving the problem.

Hopefully if issuing constant memos and bulletins aren’t solving the problem, union leadership might urge the company to institute cultural improvements in regards to safety and compliance.

Believe me ALPA Safety works tirelessly towards that end.

I got the CJO yesterday. Very thankful for the opportunity. Does anyone know what kind of flexibility there is in training dates? My offer letter had a start date of 13 September but my wife is due with our second baby on September 20th…thanks for any help!
