You’re so shady. Obviously you have some work affiliation with PSA ALPA, which makes you a continuous apologists for them. This is in reference to your entire post history, not just your recent reply. I just read through the ExpressJet shutdown thread and saw your pathetic cult like propaganda posts.

I think DCA and PHL are junior, but there's a lot of movement right now so it's hard to say what reserve times will look like. Plan for a year of reserve, and hopefully be pleasantly surprised.

I don’t get the vibe that the company or ALPA want to deal with disciplinary hearings for these things. It’s a lot of extra work for everyone involved. But the issues keep arising and issuing bulletins/memos about it isn’t solving the problem.
Mhm what the email should have said is the company is coming after the pilot group at an alarming rate right now. Please be careful and watch out for xyz, but at the same time we want you to know we have your back no matter what and we are also contacting national to see what can be done to assist us with the punitive witch hunts going on.

I’m not apologizing for anyone. It isn’t the message I would have sent personally. But it doesn’t making it threatening or factually wrong. The reality is that whether ALPA is doing well or doing bad, someone is always going to be unhappy. Maybe if you scream loud enough your chairman will just stop communicating like the last one did... That will be good right? Or maybe you should volunteer to lend a hand. ALPA at every regional is about to start experiencing high turnover in almost every committee.

There should be flexibility. If you need to defer a month or two for the birth just reach out and ask and I’m sure they would be happy to accommodate.

There's not really a junior base for new hires at the moment. New hires were awarded DAY/PHL/DCA on the last bid and you can probably get CLT before you finish IOE. If you're mobile ... move to CLT. That's 100% the place to sit short call.

Lol so ST stopped doing his job as MEC chair because the big bad pilot group hurt his feelings? If you don't want to answer to what the pilot group thinks of how you represent them then you shouldn't volunteer to represent them.

For what it's worth I think the new guy is doing well, he seems to be able to fire off an email every week or so even when nothing of consequence went down so that's sadly a pretty big win for us.

don't even respond to people like that. I think the email was well deserved to the pilot group. We screwed up a ton, not myself but the average line group of pilots just isn't quite what any airline is used to. It's not that hard to release the brakes and make sure the nose wheel steering is off.
