Whatever complaints one has about AA and their reserve system, at the very least APA has produced a ton of pilot guides via their Compass Project so pilots actually have a clear and concise guide as to what their rights actually are.

[color=#222222][color=#222222]G'day, I have a CJO with PSA. I'm from another country and have no idea what any of the regional world lingo is! How would I get a hold of the Compass Project info? Also, is there any sort of document that explains all the acronyms that you all use?
In reality, US Regional Airline Training programs are designed to turn 1,000 CFIs into reasonably competent FOs. No extra knowledge required.
Depending on how different your Country's regulations are to the State's, you'd be WAY better off getting a copy of 'Everything Explained for the Professional Pilot' and reading it several times.
If you've never had any introduction to large aircraft systems, get 'The Turbine Pilot's Flight Manual as well.

Thanks for the reply, I intend getting a copy of that, but at the moment we are getting ripped off for postage severely! That may have to wait until I get to the States until I can track down an electronic copy. I'm more looking for an explanation for things like 'KCM' etc. I know what that is now, but it takes a while to track down explanations!

Also, you could reach out to the author directly; they've been very helpful when I've done that and may have a better solution if you prefer hardcopy.

You check on Amazon? It's also available in the Apple App Store as an app for iPad, and I keep a copy of it on my company iPad.

Will also try the author direct, kind of like the hard copy of books!

Also since the people above are discussing that book, I've been reading the turbine pilots flight manual as some have suggested prior.
Is there a study style you recommend on this book? It talks about turboprops in certain paragraphs... I guess I should just skip those parts, as I'm assuming they won't be tested on

totally irrelevant. Who knows what will be going in 5 years. I would be much more concerned about the immediate stability of an airline. On that count I think they are evenly matched.
