How soon after IOE are some of these FO’s getting calls from majors? It sounds like junior FO’s are getting picked up like crazy and it’s not just captains.

Idk, 4tt, 1105 TPIC, AF vet, A&P license, college degree, multiple internals and one carrier expo later I finally got an invite from Delta so idk how some of these kids are pulling that off.

Well…. As a new hire who hasn’t even started training yet, I’m scared to death. What happens the company collapses when one is currently in training or done with training and waiting on IOE? Does every regional who is an AA WO collapse also? What about the other WO regionals like GoJet or Air Whiskey? What about the ones who aren’t WO like RPA or SkyWest? I guess nobody has the crystal ball to tell the future though. Never thought I’d be worried about job security because the shortage is TOO great.

Previously when airlines closed up, for example ExpressJet, the pilots there had preferential interviews at other places. Even though there is a demand for pilots there won't ever be 0 risks. With that being said this is doom and gloom central so take a breather from APC if you're "scared to death".

Piedmont will be gone before anything happens to PSA. I'm new as well, but I think things will be ok

Maybe “scared to death” wasn’t the right terminology lol. How about… concerned 🤣

Good. They did them a favor. 80% would've failed anyway.
