The overhead hatch in the crj is smaller making it harder to escape.

Eventually you get all the blood out of the turnip. It’s possible psa has reached that point.

Reached that point, for now. We're still running upgrades, and those new captains are still trying to leave, so those numbers will likely pick up again toward summer.

United and Delta got backed up with training and hiring along with the slow down through the holidays. Now Southwest is joining the fun and hiring like crazy as well. No high time FO here wants to upgrade to sit the worst reserve ever along with never holding a rd1 line the rest of their time here on top of being forced out of base and now having to commute so it only makes sense the numbers will increase the rest of the year. DEC are holding things together for the moment but they’re mostly collecting currency and bailing. LCA that were excited to make $427 an hour will realize shortly with new hire classes at 4-10 pilots every other week won’t leave much to get that pay with and I’m sure will follow suit out the door. Then the cycle starts all over until they can’t do it anymore.

I’m an FO here. Tbh even tho I am still on reserve. Things haven’t been bad here. QOL has been good, not many complaints. Anyways.. anyone know how to get to United? I’m going to volunteer at the local animal shelter this summer. I have some mil experience (non flying), and I am close to finishing a degree, but still probably need another year on that.

1) apply and update
2) get yourself face to face with a recruiter
3) consider lcc or southwest as a stepping stone

1- will do
2- will do
3- won’t do. Not willing to commute for potentially less pay, no flow, and not nearly as good travel bennies

That’s extremely short sighted of the big picture if you really want to get on with a legacy
