Hey there mtjoe,
According to the Dojo in a recent recurrent class there will be no recalls anytime soon.
You may want to look into Air Wisconsin, or American Eagle. Air Wisconsin just called back the last of their furloughed pilots. They called them all back rather quietly so it would not be surprising to find out that something is up in Appleton.
Also, it would not be a bad idea to touch base with office folks at PSA to see where you stand as a poolie.
Best of luck to you.

Someone in the crewroom just told me scheduling is askng people if they will take a unpaid day off when they figure they won't be used! Can any of the reserves conferm this? If this IS true why are some guys breaking reserve? This company confuses me!

Two captains left for better jobs and we are still offering LOA's. Reserves are being used 95% of the time. Either management is trying to lower costs to look good in case Mesa goes under or they are trying a new form of S&M.
In last ground school, Mark Z said that we are overstaffed. So things are the same at PSA.

Seafeye,
It now appears that MAG's reorganization under Chapter 11 Bankruptcy is proceeding as planned. Although bruised and battered, MAG will not "go under". Instead of focusing on MAG, those companies out there with a large number of 50 seat aircraft in their fleet may want to consider their options...

Sure isn't a perfect world we live in.
Mesa may not go under but their future will certainly be different than their past. Slow to almost nill growth, no new contracts, no credit to get new airplanes etc....
The best lesson here is that if you treat your employees like crap, your company will not succeed.
Just hope someone at PSA is listening...
